Experience:

Peita joined King & Company in 2002 and works in the defence of public liability and professional indemnity claims against local governments, focusing mainly on: 

• conduct of pre-court procedures;
• the daily conduct of matters relating to animal management compliance issues;
• debt recovery assistance;
• research and investigation;
• management of all post settlement procedures;
• document management.

Initially employed as a legal secretary, over the years Peita has gained the knowledge and skill to perform many aspects of claims management autonomously, adding to the firm’s ability to provide cost-effective service, without compromising on quality.

In her spare time, when not renovating her home or trying desperately to keep her indoor plants alive, Peita can be found making jewellery or the odd piece of furniture.

Peita also manages the firm’s website and social media pages and is a member of King & Company’s Health & Wellbeing Committee.
