Experience:
Following a five-year term as a District Court Judge’s Associate, Michael joined King & Company as an articled clerk in 1997. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1998, became a Partner in 2008 and a part-owner of the firm in 2013.
With over 25 years of experience in the law Michael can provide ready access to solutions and outcomes in relation to:
- planning and development;
- environmental protection;
- cultural heritage conservation;
- building work;
- compliance and enforcement;
- local government powers and responsibilities;
- protecting local government interest in relation to State development projects;
- land acquisitions and compensation;
- climate change liability implications;
- planning scheme implementation, review and amendment, including adverse planning changes and compensation;
